Scope — what the build covers, line by line

Scope of work

Everything included in the rebuild.

The pages you have been clicking through are working front-end code, not screenshots of a design. This is what turning them into a live platform involves — stated in full, including what is deliberately left out.

Foundation

The website itself

Get the site back up first

Before anything else. A working homepage on your own domain within days, so Google stops finding a maintenance page where your treatment pages used to be. The full build follows behind it.

Complete rebuild

Every page designed, written and built from scratch, with all seven years of existing URLs carried across via proper redirects so the history is preserved rather than discarded.

Speed engineering

Target 90+ mobile PageSpeed and under 500 KB first load. Images compressed to WebP, no render-blocking web fonts, global CDN.

501 reviews put to work

Your rating and review count in the first screen, pulled live from Google so it stays current, with Review structured data so stars can appear in search results too.

Content written for you

600–900 words per treatment page — who it suits, what it feels like, downtime, pricing, aftercare — written from your protocols and reviewed by you before publication.

Accessibility & compliance

Keyboard navigation, screen-reader labelling, colour contrast and clear medical disclaimers — which matter commercially as well as legally.

Making money

The revenue tools

This is what separates a website from a platform. Each one moves a different number: bookings, prepaid revenue, repeat rate, and basket size.

01Bookings

Your own appointment engine

Four-step booking on your own domain, in your own brand — replacing the Square microsite with something that looks like Bella. No per-booking fee, and the client record stays with the practice. See it

02Repeat rate

Bella Rewards

Credit earned on every treatment and product, applied automatically at the next booking. On injectables — repeated every three to four months — this is what decides who gets the repeat. See it

03Prepaid revenue

Branded gift cards

Paid today for treatment delivered later, with each card introducing somebody who has never visited — arriving on a friend's recommendation.

04Basket size

Retail and aftercare

Products attached to the treatments they follow, bundled into regimens, carrying points on every order, with refill reminders timed to when the bottle actually runs out.

05Lead capture

Free skin assessment

A short questionnaire producing a personalised recommendation. The client gets genuine guidance; you get a named lead with a stated concern from somebody not yet ready to book.

What has to happen to pay for it

Average treatment value$300
Extra bookings to cover $10,00034 visits
Spread across 12 months2.8 per month
Or: extra spend per existing visit+$40
Across ~250 visits a year$10,000
Break-evenEither route alone

Two independent routes to break-even, and the project delivers both at once. This is deliberately conservative — it assumes no improvement in search ranking at all, which is the outcome we are actually working toward.

Week 1Urgent

Get back online

A working site on your own domain, so Google stops finding a maintenance page. Search Console connected and pages resubmitted. This happens first, before any design conversation.

Weeks 2–5Build

Design, content and the platform

Every page written and built. Booking engine, gift cards, rewards and shop integrated. Treatment photography shot or directed.

Weeks 6–7Optimise

Speed, structured data and testing

Performance engineering to 90+ mobile, structured data across all pages, and full testing on real devices before anything goes live.

Week 8Launch

Go live and hand over

Migration with redirects so none of the seven years is lost, submission to Google, and a training session so your team can run it.

Straight answers

What is not included

Stated up front, because a scope that pretends to cover everything covers nothing.

Recovering the old WordPress site as-is

We rebuild rather than repair. Restoring an install that has already failed buys time until the next failure, and the existing site has published nothing since 2020 anyway. What we do preserve is every URL, so the search history transfers.

Ongoing content writing after launch

The build includes all treatment copy plus the initial article set. Publishing new articles every month afterwards is a separate retainer — worth doing, but not bundled in here so the price stays honest.

Paid advertising

No Google or Meta ad spend and no campaign management. The platform is built so ads convert far better when you do run them, but the media budget is yours to decide separately.

Hosting and domain renewal

Typically $20–$50 a month depending on traffic, billed directly to you rather than marked up through us. Your domain is paid to January 2027.

A guaranteed ranking position

Nobody can honestly promise a specific position on Google, and anyone who does is selling something. What is committed to here is every technical and content factor within our control, executed properly.

Next step

Fifteen minutes, and you decide afterwards.

Given the site is currently down, the first conversation is worth having quickly — index recovery gets harder the longer it waits.
